94-year-old World War II Veteran Tom Eakes paid a visit to Aloha Espresso on the 70th anniversary of VE day (Victory in Europe). We were proud to serve him a complimentary hot "Americano" served black and strong. Mr. Eakes was based in England '42 - '45 as an Army Air Corps B-24 bomber mechanic.
These Five Kahuku High School students are some of Aloha Espresso's first and most loyal customers. Aloha Espresso is rewarding them with credits for free drinks with every "A" they receive on their report cards. From left: Tina, Ashley, Elijah, Kiana, Chorina.
Margaret (far left) from Sydney, Australia was so impressed with her Ice Latte from Aloha Espresso, she claimed it was "the Best Coffee on the Island" and told us to put it on our website. Her three sisters joined in the photo because they all shared her opinion. (We get compliments like this quite often, but our Australian customers REALLY KNOW their coffee so we are proud to post this.) Good on ya Margaret!
Mahalo and Aloha!
Kahuku 7th grader Styles is credited for co-creating the amazing recipe for "Style's Shaka Shake". He gave us permission to use his name for this enormously popular creamy, cold beverage.
If you live on Oahu, don't forget to ask for our Loyalty card. Buy 7 large drinks and get the 8th one free!
"Good espresso to an Italian is like good waves to a surfer."
~~Best comment from a satisfied Aloha Espresso customer:
Friends Tyler (left) and Ryan earned free drinks by helping beautify the Aloha Espresso coffee cart by planting flowers. They each had Ice Mocha Lattes which they claimed were "Ono!".
